Another Embarrassing Theft, Another Positive Side

Wow!! Just when you thought, it was an isolated case of a loserdom, we get a repeat. Yes, just last week we told you about the brazen crook that walked right into the Zablocki VA Medical Center on April 4th and rolled out a 52 inch LCD television. The television was used by elderly veterans. The thief dressed like a maintenance worker so he got by unnoticed.
Well, here we go again. Sunday, two men walked into the Jefferson Court apartment complex. They left the senior center with its new 52 inch Toshiba television. They claimed they were carpet cleaners..
Who knows if it's a copycat crime. It certainly seems like it. Is this what the world has become? Bold, brazen crooks with no regard for veterans, or the elderly. Pretty sad.
But once again, we have a positive ending to a pathetic story. A lot of praise should go to Miracle Homes. The company donated a new television set for the rec. room. Now the 250 senior citizens will be able to watch their favorite shows. A good deed similar to the Waukesha Home and Design Center. That company paid for a new TV for the veterans.
So at least a happy ending is possible thanks to the good heart of others. Now let's hope surveillance video leads our suspects who apparently have no heart.
