How nice to have a positive story to report after a looser stole a television from the nursing home of the Zablocki VA Medical Center.
The guy walked in and rolled out the 52 inch flat screen television like he was supposed to be there. But he was not. Apparently he's a crook. I'm shocked no one recognizes this dude. He's dressed like a maintenance worker. But the cameras captured him. I figured he would have been turned in by now. But so far...no such luck.
But how wonderful a Menomonee Falls electronics donated a new television. The Waukesha Home Design Center deserves great praise. General Manager Michael Costigan says he felt disgusted by the act. Don't we all. But thanks to Costigan, we can all feel a bit better about our world. it's nice to know someone has tried to erase the disrespect shown to our Veterans. A positive footnote to a disgraceful crime.
