So Jared Allen gets fined $25,000 but no suspension after hitting Aaron Rodgers in the head.  This after $80,000 in fines from 3 different incidents.   And he vows he won't change his pass rushing style?  The third incident to Rodgers, and you should have been out for a game....

This wasn't a shock....so Brett Favre says he's having too much fun to think about next season.  What do you expect?  He's getting ready to face the undefeated Titans...I wouldn't be thinking about next year either if asked about it.

And how about that....two discarded, old, gray beard QB's in Favre and Kerry Collins leading their teams to new heights, going head-to-head.  And both have something else in common....going to rehab to shed addictions, and all these years later, they pour themselves into hunting and other endeavors to stay away from their past demons.  Kudos to both.

And want an enemy player that's easy to root for this week?  How about Saints Defensive End Jeff Charleston.  He thought his career was over, getting cut by the Colts this offseason...so he spent the first 5 weeks of the season helping at a friend's custom furniture store in Portland, Oregon. 

Then he gets picked up by the Saints...cut again...then re-signed last month, only to have the best game by a New Orleans defensive lineman this year by posting 2 sacks and 2 QB hurries in a win against KC last week.  Now that's a Saint that's easy to pull for...
