THE LIFE AND LOOK OF A HOCKEY ENFORCER

GIVE IT UP FOR TOUGH GUYS LIKE NOLAN YONKMAN

By Lance Allan

Nolan Yonkman has heard it all before.

Tough Guy.

Fighter.

Worse yet, Goon.

But you can't throw Nolan off his game.  The Admirals defenseman and captain is 6'6" and 250 pounds for a reason.

He was born to fight, and enforce.  And he's proud of it.

Some enforcers work on boxing, or mixed martial arts, or ultimate fighting techniques to perfect their craft.

It's what got him drafted, and got him promoted to the NHL.  And that's not going to change.

And believe me, looking at him...you feel the intimidation.  So is there a certain look for tough guys...you know, goatee....long, combed back hair?

I take on the subject with the Admirals tough guy...click on the video link and e-mail your thoughts to lallan@todaystmj4.com
