Sports Glance With LanceTHE HOUSE THAT TONY ROMO BUILTTHIS WILL MAKE YOU SICKBy Lance AllanOK, if you aren't already sick about the state of the Brewers and the loss to Cubs, here's something that will really make you hurl. How about the new Texas Stadium, the house that Tony Romo built? Well, that's a stretch...but at least Romo having something to do with it is a little easier to stomach than realizing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones got this thing done.
The two steel arches supporting the stadium will be more than a quarter mile long, bigger than the St. Louis arch. The Statue of Liberty could fit under the retractable dome, which will open in just 18 minutes. The cost? Just a measly $1 billion. You can check out more of it at http://stadium.dallascowboys.com/

To say it's Texas-sized is an understatement. It can seat up to 100,000. And the video screen will be 60 yards long and weight 600 tons.
And then Jerry Jones wonders why people around here think the Cowboys are the evil empire. You think this baby will help if there's no salary cap, or if teams can keep more of their revenue? The Dallas Cowboys will be one of the richest teams in sports, period.
