Mark Chmura might not be tight with his old Packer Amigo Brett Favre.  And while Chmura still keeps in touch with old buddy Frank Winters, he mainly finds out what Favre's up to, through Frankie.

Even in his playing days, Chmura was a go to sound bite...usually speaking as honestly as he could.  And that's why his take on the whole Brett Favre saga in Green Bay is interesting.

Calling it a "soap opera" that will only get better (or worse, depending on your perspective), Chmura truly believes Favre will play again...for another team.  He also says this whole thing is headed in a bad direction, but it doesn't have to if the two sides get together. 

He also insists this could prevent the Packers from achieving Super Bowl aspirations, and urges Favre to find something to do in retirement...not a 40 hour a week job, but something to give him a sense of self-worth.
