If you want a quick 15 second lesson to show your kids about poor sportsmanship...here it is.
In a Georgia high school game, catcher Matt Hill appears to duck and intentionally miss catching the ball, as a fastball hits umpire Jeff Scott square in the face.
The video speaks pretty much for itself, showing two frustrated players conspiring to hit Scott with a pitch right in the facemask. The Georgia High School Association thought the beaning was so obvious, they fined Stephens County High School $1,000 and Hill lost his upcoming spot on a college team.
Quite frankly, this probably isn't punishment enough...because Scott is injured and considering a lawsuit.
Please, click on the video link and tell your kids this is not how to handle frustration and problems in any circumstance.
