My first impressions, second opinion and the third degree on the Packers 2008 schedule as the Aaron Rodgers era dawns...
September 8th, the Packers open at home against the Vikes. It starts with a win....30-17.
Game 2 in Detroit....the Packers still own this team. GB wins 31-27.
Sunday night on Today's TMJ4 against the Cowboys...Tony Romo comes back to break every heart from here to Burlington...by bringing
Jessica Simpson along for his return trip to his home state. 34-31 Boys.
Game 4. Chucky has the look, but which one of his 6 quarterbacks will be playing? Green wins the battle of the bays, 20-17.
The Falcons? Please. Packers 37-10.
At Seattle? Holmgren again beats the Packers...in the regular season...when it doesn't matter nearly as much. 27-24.
Colts at Lambeau? Unfortunately, the Packers are 4-3 entering the bye week. Indy win 24-23.
At Tennessee? Tougher than you think. Titans win 23-21.
At Minnesota? No dome jinx for the Packers anymore. It's a 28-24 Packers win.
Home against the Bears makes the Milwaukee season ticket holders drive home happy. 24-13 Pack.
At New Orleans will be a loss....30-24.
The Packers beat Carolina and Houston at home...28-21 over the Panthers, 34-24 over the Texans.
The Jags are a team to be reckoned with. Jacksonville wins 24-14.
End of the season? Beat the Bears at Soldier Field 26-20....and beat the Lions at home for the umteen millionth time 31-21.
That's 10-6 in my book. Your thoughts encouraged at lallan@todaystmj4.com
