He hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin....well, actually Two Rivers, Wisconsin...and he now lives in the Twin Cities.
And he is Mr. Kennedy....well, actually his real name is Ken Anderson.
But this product of the state continues to impress WWE crowds...and rise to superstardom because of his charisma and wit.
Mr. Kennedy may project to be a loud mouth in the ring...but the real Ken Anderson? A thoughtful, funny, and charismatic person who hopes to translate all of that into an acting career...in fact, he's beginning to shoot his first movie next week.
He makes a mint now...but Mr. Kennedy remembers the days when he wrestled for 50 bucks at local legion halls. He's even named one of his finishing maneuvers the Green Bay plunge. He wanted to name it the Lambeau Leap, but the Packers pretty much have that trademarked.
If you haven't seen his act, it's beautiful. He has a spotlight on him in the center of the ring...and they drop a mic to him. As a heel (bad guy), he proceeds to rip the crowd...and then screams his name twice, like this: KENNEDY....KENNEDY!
He says that comes from his high school days, when as an announcer for girls basketball, he would announce the last name twice...because it was so nice.
He jokes that since Brett Favre's gone, Wisconsin needs a hero. Click on the video link to catch his outrageous comments!
But with all his talk, Mr. Kennedy just might deliver on that promise!
