ALL HAIL THE CHAMPS!
There's Just One Problem
Lance Allan
First of all, big up's to Tosa East and New Berlin Eisenhower, bringing the gold home from Madison.
Tosa East merely shot a blistering 81% in the first half, survived 21 points on 10 of 13 shooting from Madison Memorial's Jeronne Maymon in the same half, got an Eric Williams 3 with 27 seconds left in regulation to send it into overtime, before winning 58-56 in OT for one of the most thrilling championship games I've ever seen.
Eisenhower simply got a record 7 3's from sharp shooter Alex Izzo in winning the Lions first ever basketball title, 54-41 over Adams-Friendship.
The only problem? Yeah, Tosa East is the school of NBA stars Tony Smith and Devin Harris, Louisville's Jerry Smith, and unfortunately some clown named Vince Vitrano, our own ring leader of the morning show.
Thank goodness the Raiders fix that blotch on the resume...but the ring leader will be clowning around for a few days, so get ready for the circus!
