The high temperature in Milwaukee on Election Day 2008 was 73 degrees.

That set a record for the date of Nov 4th, beating the previous record of 72 set in 1964.

However, the 73 degree high yesterday was 1 degree short of the warmest temperature ever on a Presidential Election Day in Milwaukee.

The warmest was in 1964 when Milwaukee hit 74 degrees.  That was the year Lyndon Johnson beat Barry Goldwater.
