It continues to amaze me.  The 2nd most common thing people say to me when they meet me...after "I thought it wasn't supposed to rain today"...is, "I listen to your song every Friday morning".

Adults.  Kids.  Kids in school!  I've been told by some high schoolers that their first hour teacher let's them put the radio on at 740am on Fridays just so they can hear it.  I'm not making this up.

It started about a year and a half ago, or so.  Morning-guy-extraordinaire John Jagler  of Newsradio 620 WTMJ wrote the little diddy...which was then recorded by a still-anonymous local musician.  They've been playing it on Friday mornings on Newsradio 620 WTMJ at 740am ever since.

Jagler  tells me that when I'm off on a Friday...and they don't play the song...people actually call in and ask if they'll play it anyway.
