I Might Have To Quit My Job

The Koplien girls had very busy summers.

There were basketball and volleyball camps...swimming...birthday parties.  And there were so many sleepovers, I'm not sure just how many nights during the summer that all 3 girls actually slept at our house.

With the start of school, one might expect that things would calm down a little.

One would be wrong.

Here's a rundown of one recent afternoon/evening...

I go to the middle school for a parent's meeting for daughter #2's track team...then bring her home so my wife can pick her up and daughter #3...she drops #3 off at the park for soccer practice...then goes to the high school to pick up daughter #1 from volleyball practice.  With daughters #1 and #2, my wife swings by daughter #3's elementary school for parent's curriculum night.  She then drops #1 off at home and takes #2 to volleyball practice (my wife is the team's coach).  Meanwhile I go to the park to pick up #3 and two friends after soccer.  I deliver the 2 friends, then arrive back at our house find #1 working on homework.  I send #3 into the shower, after which I read her a book and get her to bed.  #1 is still doing homework when I go to bed.  My wife and #2 are still not home from volleyball.

Piece of cake.
