I found the story below on the website of a newspaper in Ontario, Canada.

Man stabbed after dispute over 'Dr. Phil'

A fight sparked by "The Dr. Phil Show" resulted in a Barrie woman's arrest Monday after police say she attacked her hubby with a kitchen knife.

Police received a 911 call for a domestic assault. The caller advised he had been attacked and cut on the arm.

When officers arrived, the victim said his common-law wife of 10 years had been drinking while watching Dr. Phil. The two became involved in a verbal argument about the show.

Police say the man was hit with a table and various other household items before the woman went to the kitchen, got a knife and attempted to stab him. The man was cut on his arm, but did not require medical attention.

Officers charged a 69-year-old woman with assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and assault. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Where should we start?

#1 - They were arguing about "The Dr. Phil Show".

#2 - The wife was drinking while watching "The Dr. Phil Show".  Allow me to read between the lines here and surmise that she was probably drinking heavily.

#3 - The man was hit with a table...

#4 - ...and other household items.  Like what...an ottoman...a DVD player...?

#5 - The woman is 69 years old.

#6 - To repeat...the man was hit with a table.

As my friend Vince Vitrano would say, "Nice job Canada".
