Little Blonde from "Full House"

In all honesty, the biggest reason I am sharing this news is because my daughters will be interested.  I am referring to the news that the little blonde from the '90s sitcom "Full House" just had a baby. 

Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner on the show, is the new mom of a baby girl.  Here she is before the birth...


The baby's name is reportedly Zoie...and was delivered this past Saturday at 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

I know my girls will be interested in the news as they watch reruns of "Full House" ALL THE TIME!


I'm not sure if it's on ABC Family Channel or Nick at Nite or what...but it's on a lot.  Sometimes I think we have the "All Hannah Montana and Full House Channel".


Obviously the Olsen Twins were the break-out star kids of that show...but I always kind of liked Sweetin's character Stephanie a little more.


The news of her daughter is some of the better news I heard about Sweetin over the years.  I believe she had quite a drug problem for a time.  Once she got cleaned up, she went public with her past issues.  I believe she did some good in terms of educating people about the horrors of drug abuse.

Let's hope that the arrival of Zoie is another step toward a happy and healthy life as a former child-TV star.
