Not sure if you heard, but this summer NBC will be airing a "Celebrity" version of the game show "Family Feud".

Yesterday, the network announced who the host will be.

Survey says...Al Roker.


The first episode is scheduled for July 1st with The Today Show weather guy asking the questions and kissing the ladies.

(Actually, there is no confirmation about whether there will be Richard Dawson-like smooching going on.)


Let's see here...morning weather guy...hosting "Family Feud"...Hmmmmm?


I wonder if I could pull that off here?

What if we did a local version of the show?


We could have local media families battle it out...like TMJ4 vs. Newsradio620 WTMJ.



Or maybe the families of our own...how about Susan Kim's family vs. Vince Vitrano's?

Or maybe local companies...how about Harley-Davidson vs. Briggs & Stratton?



Or local government officials...how about Tom Barrett's family vs. Scott Walker's?


All of the money won on the NBC version of the show will go to charity.  Maybe we could get local companies to sponsor our local version of the show and do they same thing.

You know, I may be on to something here.


The more I think about this, the more I like it.

I wonder who around here I pitch this idea to?
