Welcome Back, GotterBrrrrr!By Brian Gotter (WTMJ)The sun is in full force, but the temperatures will not warm up much today with highs only in the teens in Milwaukee and single digits west and north of the city. While the winds are diminishing, the wind chills will remain between o and -10 throughout the afternoon and drop to -5 to -15 overnight with light winds. Actual lows tonight will be near zero in Milwaukee and below zero in the inland areas with a clear sky. Friday stays cold with highs in the mid teens for Milwaukee, but the wind will be light and wind chills will be in the single digits with sunshine. As the wind shifts to the NE Friday night, there is a chance of very light snow along the lakefront that will linger into Saturday morning…a dusting of accumulation is expected.
Saturday afternoon will be sunny with highs in the 20s and it is even warmer for Sunday with highs in the mid 20s. We get back close to 30 next week and our only chance of snow is Tuesday, and it will be very light from a weak Alberta Clipper..maybe an inch of accumulation.
