Welcome Back, GotterCold Morning to MowBy Brian Gotter (WTMJ)I got up early this morning to cut the grass for the last time this season..hopefully. I love working in the yard, but it is time to rest and get ready for snow blowing..I was busy in the yard this year with a lot of little projects and of course the big patio and fire pit project. It was a bit brisk this morning with temps in the 30s and wind chills in the 20s, but it had to get down. It is dark when I get home in the evening and this weekend I am busy, so I bundled up and mowed. I was actually worked up a sweat, but my face was a bit raw. Vinny made fun of me on the noon show...I said I should have waited until Saturday when its 60...he said that I had no idea what the weather was going to be like so I mowed today...we laughed. To another year of yard work under my belt. Now bring on the snow so I can fire up my snow blower and go sledding with my daughter. |
