Oklahoma had a huge game on Saturday night and I thought they may even lose the Big 12 Championship Game against Missouri.  Instead, they crushed them 62-21.

Scoring at least 60 points on Saturday made college football history.  Never before has a college football team scored 60 or more points 5 straight games...Oklahoma did.  And the 5 big wins were against some great schools.  Game one was against a good Nebraska team, then at Texas A&M (not a great team this year, but always tough place to play), against #2 Texas Tech, #11 Oklahoma State in Stillwater (a hostile environment) and then #20 Missouri.  It has been an exciting few weeks and now my team is #1 in the nation and playing Florida in the National Championship Game on January 8.

I wish we were #2 right now and #1 after the big game.  I am nervous.  Watch Oklahoma score 10 points after all these high scoring games.  Florida is tough and OU has always had trouble with running quarterbacks like Florida's Tebow (a Jacksonville native).  Texas is my #1 hated team..Florida is #2.  I lived in Jacksonville, FL for 5 years and those Gator fans are obnoxious and annoying.  I would have rather played Alabama.

The smack talk has already begun with friends and family in Florida and even my boss here at TMJ4...a Florida Alum.  It will be a fun month.
