Welcome Back, GotterPacker Jekyll & Packer HydeBy Brian GotterWhat a game yesterday against the Bears...as the Milwaukee Journal wrote..." Packers Destroy the Bears". It was complete domination. Who were those guys on the field? The Pack took out their frustrations on da Bears! They looked awesome against the Colts and Bears, and looked ugly against the Cowboys and Vikings..which team will show up the last 6 games? I ripped them to shreds last week and they deserved it, but I also said they are a good team that just needs to click...they clicked yesterday! They started a little rough with a few penalties the first drive..I was like..here we go again, but we could run the ball from the first play. We ran with ease and the Bears run defense is ranked 4th in the league...yesterday we made them look bad. The run blocking was awesome, but pass protection was rough at times. Rodgers looked good once again, but he did throw a stupid interception, but it did not hurt us as the defense held the Bears to a 3 and out. The defense was tough, but we still do not have any pass rush...Orten had all day back there at times. These are just a few things that they need to improve on to take on the top teams. Crosby even hit a 53 yarder just before half and I was like...where was that kick last Sunday in the dome...with no wind to win the game? Darn! Oh well, the Packers looked tough and to all the people calling AM 620 post game show last Sunday saying the season was over...how do you feel now? The Pack has a tough schedule with 6 games left, but if they finish 5-1, they have a record of 10-6...what I predicted before the season started. By the way, there is a 3 way tie for first with Minnesota (thanks for losing) and Chicago, but the Packers hold the tiebreakers, and if the season ended today (which it does not) the Pack would win the North and Chicago and Minnesota would be out of the playoffs. That would be so sweet! Go Packers. |
