After 30 years of great radio in Milwaukee, 94.5 WKTI is no longer.  At noon today the switch was flipped for the New 94.5  Lake FM.  The station is all about variety...it's slogan is "What will we play next?"  From now until Monday morning there will be commercial free music and what you will hear is literally everything.  Most Top 40 stations play 60 to 100 songs..with 20 being played repeatedly in their rotation...it gets old fast.  Lake FM will play anything from the 60s to today...it is an Ipod on shuffle mood.

This format is popular around the country and you may have heard of Jack Radio...limited commercial interruptions with a huge variety of music.  Before Tina and I moved from Jacksonville 7 years ago one of the radio stations converted to Jack radio...it was an overnight sensation and is still going strong.  I immeiately called Tina this morning after hearing the news and she wa svery excited for the change..she loves variety in her music.

So give it a try...you will be hooked immediately...it is a great station to have on during parties or just sitting in the backyard.
