News Kids

By Brian Gotter

Tina and a few girlfriends had a girls night Wednesday night and went to dinner and to the New Kids on the Block concert at the Bradley Center.  Could you hear all the ladies screaming last night?

Tina asked me months ago if I wanted to go.  New Kids was OK back in the late 80s and early 90s, but no way am I going to see the boys band.  It is a ladies band and Tina grew up with a huge crush on Joey McIntyre (spelling?).  I told Joey on the news last night (just in case he was watching) to leave my wife alone.  He is so dreamy..according to Tina and thousands of women.

She had a blast and Natasha Bedingfield was the opening act and Tina said she was outstanding.    It was a great show and her ears were ringing when she got home at midnight....late night considering she was up at 6am today to get to the train station to head to Chicago.  I bet she is tired today.

Ali and I rushed home so I could mow the lawn..it gets dark so early now that I was mowing the front yard in the dark while Ali played with her toys.  We then carved two pumpkins, had dinner, washed up and then read a few books and it was time for Ali to get to bed.  It was a great night.

Thank goodness I did not have to go to the New Kids Concert...I was "Hanging Tough!"  Ha ha.
