What is falling faster...stock prices or gas prices?

The market has crashed over the last month and the gas prices in Milwaukee have dropped $0.30 to $.60 just this week.  There are a few stations that are selling gas at $2.99 while the average is $3.19.  My parents are paying $2.70 in Oklahoma.  This may be a result of the market problems, but it is also very common before an election to have gas prices drop to get you excited, but with the state of the economy, it is being overshadowed.

I heard the best joke the other day about the economy...I took all my money out of my 401K and invested all of it in Forever Stamps....I have a secure gold mine.  Who needs a stamp?
