I have been out of the office the past few days but I wanted to catch up on the weekend events.

I went to the Brewers game on Saturday night and it was the best Brewer game I have ever been to...man was it loud and full of energy.  Our section stood for most of the game and my voice was almost gone with all the shouting and chanting.  Playoff baseball in Milwaukee had returned and it made Opening Day look lame.  Opening Day has always been a big deal in Milwaukee over the years, but now that we have had a taste of playoff baseball, it does not compare. 

After the game the stadium was like I have never seen in Miller Park.  Everyone was hi-fiving and hugging and chanting "Lets Go Brewers".  My aunt and I did not want to leave...we walked very slowly back to the car as we cheered with all the fans.

So I made the very difficult decision not to go to the Packer game on Sunday.   I realize I have a great life when my stressful decision is between going to a Brewer playoff game or to Lambeau....my paradise.  It was difficult, but I wanted to experience another Brewer game like we did on Saturday.  I did have my headphones on and listened to every play of the Packer game...it was difficult at times with all the noise from the thunder sticks, but at least I was able to listen to Wayne and Larry.  I gave updates to my section.  It seemed that when the Brewers struggled, the Packers did as well...and when one team played well so did the other...however both lost.

I was sad but not devastated.  I went home and laid on the couch and watched the Packer game that I recorded...I know, I have a sickness.  It was a very nice evening at home with my girls as it was chilly and rainy...a perfect night for us to cuddle and relax.

Thank you Brewers for a great season!  Come on Pack..start blocking and tackling....Geez.
