In all my years of a Wisconsin sports fan I have never had the dilemma that I am potentially faced with this weekend.
If the Brewers win on Saturday, they play again on Sunday at 12:05...the same time as the Packer game in Lambeau. I have tickets to both. My love for the Packers outweighs all sports, but this is the Brewers in the playoffs...a very rare event. My heart wants to be in Lambeau, but if the Brewers win, I will be in Miller Park on Sunday. While it is stressful to make the decision, it is nice to have decisions like this in October!
However, I did not have much faith in the Brewers before the series started and now my faith has dwindled to almost nothing. The Brew Crew has not hit the ball in over a month besides a few clutch home runs and they have leaned on CC for pitching. They leaned too much and CC finally broke yesterday..I had a bad feeling that would happen...he is tired. They should have saved CC for Saturday's game in Milwaukee. I was hoping the Brewers would win on Thursday and come home 1-1, but now I believe they will lose Saturday and be swept by the Phillies. Philly is not playing well either, but the Brewers are killing themselves with errors and bad hitting.
The Packers play Atlanta and we are very banged up, but The Pack will win 24-17. I hope.
Go Packers, Brewers and Badgers.
