Tina and I took the day off on Tuesday to spend with Ali and to run some errands. We recently purchased new bowling balls so we needed to go to Brookfield to get them fitted and drilled. Tuesday was the perfect day to do that before we took Ali to the apple orchard.
This is Tina's first bowling ball so the experience is all new to her, while I have been bowling most of my life. I was very impressed with the detail he put into his work. Tina had no idea drilling a bowling ball was so scientific.
The best part of the fitting was when he measured my hand. My hand measured 6 inches and it barely fit the fitting ball. He told me I was the winner. In 22 years of drilling bowling balls he said I had the biggest hand that he had measured. He had to bring all the employees over to witness my freakishly large hands.
Then it was Tina's turn. Remember, I am 6'4" and Tina is 5'. Her hand measured 2 7/8" He said she was the winner of the smallest hand he had measured on a woman. We need to contact Guinness or join the circus. We knew we were extreme, but not that extreme.
By the way, the bowling world better watch out now that we have our new bowling balls. The guy said I should be averaging 220 in a few weeks. Tina just wants to average more than 100. She also got her name on her ball..she is as excited as I was when I was 6 and got my first ball.
