Welcome Back Gotter

Welcome Back, Gotter

Mr Rodgers Neighborhood

Brian Gotter

To all of you who doubted...How about that Aaron Rodger's?  You bet he will have bad games..they all do, but his first 2 games have been awesome.  He handled himself perfectly throughout the summer soap opera and shows no signs of nerves or stress from all the pressure that has been placed on his shoulders.

His passes look great...he has a great arm and is smart in his decision making.  The added bonus that we have not had over the past few years...he can scramble and do it with his feet.  How about the first down run as he tip toed along the sideline and then instead of going out of bounds, he stayed in play and took a big hit.  It was great, but Aaron, next time get out of bounds.  He seems to have control of the team and they seem to respect him.  They are having fun...winning does that.

What I really like...Mr Rodgers is becoming himself.  After watching Favre for years and seeing how he dressed in shorts and sweats and was unshaven, Aaron did the same.  It seemed like he was trying to be like Brett.  He did not shave, his hair was a disaster and he wore sweats.  After the game on Sunday he looked like Tom Brady.  All GQ his his suit, clean shaven and nice hair cut.  He looked like he was 16 years old, but he looked very professional.  Hopefully Aaron becomes like Tom Brady...one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game with numerous Super Bowl titles.
