Ali has always been social and a sweetie, but she is also really good with Murphy our dog and babies. Wherever Murphy is, you will find Ali. They are very good together and they play very well…which mainly consists of Ali chasing him around the house. Murphy love sit. Murphy is an 11 pound, 6 year old Shih-Tzu. He is basically her little teddy bear and she is always petting and hugging him.

She is obsessed with babies and is very curious to see them at stores and restaurants. Our friends have a 4 month old and Ali holds him and lies next to him. She is very gentle and loving.

We have realized she would be an excellent big sister. We always planned on having two kids, but there were those times even just a few months ago when we thought one was more than enough to handle…what were we thinking? We can’t handle more than one. Now that we have weathered that storm, we are in talks. Settle down, I have nothing to report, but we are talking. Our agents are in talks..hahha! Many of you email me wanting to know when we will have another baby. I don’t know the answer, but at least we have realized Ali needs a brother or sister. And we will do anything for her, that includes lack of sleep, diapers and terrible twos all over again.

Besides, how can we ignore Ali? She is on a mission lately. She will tell us almost everyday that she wants a sister. This started a few weeks ago and we have no idea who is feeding this into her mind..it just came out one day and it has not stopped. We ask her if she wants a brother and the answer is always no; “I want a little sister.”

I bet she would be happy with either…I do know she will be a great sister someday.
