In 2005, Michael became the political reporter for the NBC affiliate in Bismarck, North Dakota . He came to TODAY'S TMJ4 in August of 2006. "I love living in Milwaukee . It has everything you could want in a major city, but it still has the sense of community that first attracted me to the Midwest ," Michael says.  He enjoys watching movies and basketball in his spare time.
