Tom Murray joined TODAY’S TMJ4 in January 2007.  At 6'7", he is one of the tallest reporters in the business.
Tom has traveled the state covering stories and frequently appears live during breaking news.  His reports have aired on CNN, MSNBC and The Weather Channel.
 
Tom and his wife Jennifer live in Greendale.  They are members of Oak Creek Assembly of God church where they are active in the young adult, drama and Sunday school ministries.
 
“My Christian faith is the source of happiness and blessings in my life,” Tom said.
 
Hockey is a passion for Tom.  He now keeps the peace on skates as a referee in several college and high school leagues.
 
Tom came to Milwaukee from KAAL-TV in Rochester, MN where he served as a reporter and weekend anchor.
 
Tom is a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism Mass Communication at Arizona State University.  His college reporting won top national awards from the Broadcast Education Association and Hearst Foundation.  Tom studied internationally in Europe and Bermuda. 
 
While attending ASU, Tom visited campuses across the country producing football and men's basketball play-by-play broadcasts for Arizona State's Sun Devil Sports Network. He also hosted a weekend radio show on KOOL-FM, the world famous oldies station in Phoenix.
 
Tom is native of Portage, MI.  He got his start in broadcasting on WKZO-AM at age 18.  Tom attended Portage Central High School and The Gagie School.
