Annie Scholz joined TODAY’S TMJ4 in May of 2011. “I was born in Chicago, and my family is right on the border, so this feels like coming home.”
Annie has a BA from Yale University and an MBA from American University. She started her television career during graduate school in Washington, DC with research positions at Nightly Business Report, Dateline, and WRC-TV. From our nation’s capitol, Annie got her first on-air job in Charlottesville, VA at NBC affiliate WVIR.
After four years in central Virginia, reporting and anchoring just about every shift, Annie moved to Albany, NY as the morning and noon anchor, where she also reported daily stories and several weekly series pieces. Those included a segment that threw Annie into someone else’s job for the day, and a financial series that dug deep into the big financial questions affecting viewers.
When she’s not busy reporting the stories that matter most to you, Annie can usually be found having fun with her friends, her dogs, and her family.
