MILWAUKEE - Herbert Lowe, the journalism professional in residence in the Diederich College of Communication, reported for Newsday moments after the Sept. 11 attacks and witnessed firsthand the chaos, destruction and sadness.
He’s chronicled his experience that day online and can also speak to the attacks’ aftermath, having contributed to “American Lives: The Stories of the Men and Women Lost on September 11,” and reporting for the paper on related topics in the months and years afterward.
Lowe appeared on TODAY'S TMJ4 Live at Daybreak with Tom Murray on Sunday, September 11, 2011.
